Career mentoring to help you choose your first job – or your next one
Picking your first job or deciding to switch careers can make your head spin. I’ve been there.
Changing careers is becoming more and more common. People in the future will have not just one career, but many. And that means what counts most is your core skills.
Like language skills.
Admittedly I have spent a lot of time throughout the years thinking about languages and work – and the future of work. And having lived and worked in multiple countries, I have seen my fair share of work environments.
I launched the Working With Languages podcast in 2025 to discover and showcase the huge variety of work options out there, all centered around language skills.

How to work with languages
If you are entering a job market that is changing faster than ever before…
Or you want to switch to a more meaningful career…
Or you entered a new life chapter and now you want to work part time / full time / flexible hours / remotely…
You are in the right place to understand what working with languages may look like and how to pick a job with languages that suits you.
These are some of the elements to consider:

Mentoring options
Maybe you’re searching for your first job and don’t know how to turn your languages into a career. Maybe you’re ready to leave your current field and want your languages to play a bigger part in the next chapter. Either way, I can help.
I’ve made that journey myself: I grew up speaking Italian and German, I first become a translator then moved into multilingual digital marketing. Now I host a podcast and mentor people wishing to work with languages. Together we’ll find the right path for you, and then make sure employers see what you bring.
Which are you?
I’m looking for my first job with languages
You’ll get clarity on which roles and industries fit you, a CV and LinkedIn profile that show your language skills as a real strength, and confidence going into applications and interviews.
I want to change careers
You’ll work out how your experience and your languages combine into a new direction, how to position yourself for a different field, and how to move from ‘I’d like a change’ to a concrete plan.
